We had a pool view suite and had a great time! The room was spacious and had a sitting and small kitchenette area. The staff was friendly, especially Madison checking us in on our late night arrival. The kids loved the pools and we ventured over to Sapphire falls and really loved their poolside service and pool area.

Cabana Bay is a decent moderately priced hotel that’s perfect for families looking to stay on the Universal property. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable, and the customer service was extremely friendly and helpful. I was bummed that the hot tub at our main pool was broken for the entire three nights stay and the only other hot tub and use was extremely tiny and a good Seven minute walk away from our hotel room—not convenient! I was also saddened to learn that they no longer pump music into the underwater speakers at the Hideaway pool! That was a feature. I really liked when I stayed here almost 2 years ago, and I had hyped it up so much to my son. It was a major disappointment when we learned it was no longer in service! We experienced a little snafu regarding a hotel staff member giving us inaccurate information about what restaurants were still open after 11 PM when we arrived the first night, however; the hotel management made it right by comping us a couple of meals on site. Drinks at the Hideaway bar were delicious and served with a smile and the food in the diner is quite good! I love how it’s open until 11 PM— super convenient for late night eaters and night owls in our family! All in all, I would definitely stay here again with my family if we were going to Universal!

Pool was great! Food on the premises was okay, but super convenient after a long day spent in the parks. Bowling was super overpriced, and did not give prices when setting a reservation time. $24 a person is crazy!

Disgusting!

You would think that a hotel connected to Universal Studios would be stellar but it wasn’t. Room was dirty. I don’t know if that was mold in the shower area disgusting. I stayed only one night just to possibly plan a longer vacation in the future ABSOLUTELY NOT!
