My wife and I were looking for an overnight stay in Seattle avoiding downtown but still in a lively neighborhood. Ballard was the perfect neighborhood with lots of pubs, bakeries, coffee shops and restaurants to choose from. The large deep soaking tub in our garden suite was exactly what we needed after a day of traveling.

We had a great room on the roof of the hotel. Funky out door seating and a great view of the area. Fireworks on July 4 were great to watch! Tons of restaurants nearby. Access to an awesome fitness centre. The restaurant (Stoneburner) attached to the hotel is a must. Friendly staff mixing great cocktails and serving fantastic food. A great stay and highly recommended.

We enjoyed getting to know the neighbourhood of Ballard. The hotel is perfectly located to walk to a multitude of restaurants, pubs and stores. The room was great, very comfortable. The only thing we felt was missing was a mini-fridge for drinks and snacks.

Room was nice but heating device noisy. The bed was very comfortable. It was very difficult to find the hotel in the dark, which it was at check-in time, because there is no illumination on the entryway and it's obstructed by an outside seating area on the sidewalk. The evening desk clerk was very unhelpful. The morning staff were fabulous. It's in a cool area but driving around the area is a challenge.

Loved my pavilion room. Ballard is a fun little area and it was convenient for what I needed. The hotel is a very nice boutique hotel.

We used to live in Seattle and still try to come back to visit regularly. Hotel Ballard has become our go-to place to stay. The hotel is beautiful, the staff are helpful, and the area is very walkable with tons of shops, restaurants, and even the farmers market on Sunday. Even with all of that so close by, the rooms are quiet and comfortable.
