Love the balcony overlooking the river. Got lots of pictures of birds - cardinals playing on the lawn, a pair of common mergansers, and a kingfisher that sat posing in a tree.

Superb
OMG!! This hotel was beyond beautiful. Located right on the river made it that much more amazing. It was so clean and comfortable. The staff was super friendly and attentive. They really take their cleaning and service seriously. The bed is a sleep number bed which once adjusted was perfect. Best night's sleep I've had in a while. The tub in the bathroom was deeper than traditional so it was a fair step up and down but so relaxing

Looking to retire
Location and rooms were excellent. Wonderful views. A few plumbing issues need to be addressed. COVID in addition to off season seems to have slowed business. Must be a happening place in the summer. Fire alarm acted up in the early morning. Always a good story about standing outside in PJs at 1:30 in the morning. Overall we would return during the off season just to avoid the crowd.

Very pleasant stay.
I have stayed here before and it is always a pleasant experience. This hotel is squeaky clean and so pleasantly quiet and serene. The appointments in the room are pristine and beautiful. The bed was a sleep number bed.

We loved staying here. The room was definitely outdated, would’ve loved a smart tv so we could use our own streaming services. But how nice our room was really made that not too big of a deal. We had a beautiful view of the river. Big plus too, brattleboro was about 5 minutes away and Keene was about 30 minutes. Super convenient location.
