Get what you pay for.
One night stay, had a 11 hour layover in Madrid and I would not recommend this hotel because of its proximity to the airport, the taxi cost me 26 euros to get there and 23 euros to get back to the airport, they have a shuttle service that is not owned by them and the gal at the desk was unable to get through to them and I did not feel comfortable taking city buses at 6 am in a strange city. A couple other points is there was only free wifi in the lobby, not real convenient at one in the morning to hang out in a lobby to get things in order, also there are no phones in the room so you can forget getting a wake-up call! This is a VERY basic hotel and if I did ever have a layover like this again I would sleep in the airport for what it was worth. The price was right but location from airport was not feasible for one night. Plus there was no coffee maker or even a blow dryer in the room. Gieselle at the front desk is a super gal and did what she could for me this is not a rant on service, it is more of a comment to let people know that the taxi fees are insane to get there.

Not good location without a car.
I had to take a taxi to get to the hotel from Madrid airport as there was no hotel shuttle. I was shocked when the fare on the meter started at 30 euros. I told the driver I read that the hotel is near and the fare is too high.. Since I am not able to speak Spanish well, when we reached the hotel, I asked the receptionist to let him know that the fare is too high. I ended up paying 35 Euros. This made my stay not a happy one.

great place
Place was nice but there were hairs under my sheets. Long black hairs. Breakfast was good, internet was good. Location was very clean and well kept. There's a shuttle from the airport to the hotel. The metro is about a 10 minute walk from the hotel. Concierge were polite and helpful, they knew a bit of English.
