no frills japanese business hotel
Typical Japanese business hotel. Rooms are small in western standard but good in Japanese standard. Location is somewhat convenient if you're taking the Asakusa line but quite a walk from Tokyo station if you're taking the bus. Clean rooms but I found 2 hairs (1 on towel and another on pillow) on 2 out of 3 nights. Wifi was slow at night.

Great location. Conveniently close to Tokyo station. Room is small but that's to be expected. Very clean. Would stay again.

The hotel is located at a spot where I do not have to rely on only one transport -- the JR as well as the subway, thence making tourism at ease. The room is very clean and tidy every day.

Great value for a few nights.
I knew the room and lobby would be small but it's worth mentioning again. Although small, typical Japanese hotel efficiency means that the room was actually pretty comfortable. The elevator was slow. You're constantly playing the warehouse game moving things around so that you can open your suitcase and put anything anywhere. A place like this is best for a couple of nights only. The Kyushu style izakaya was tasty but tabacco was an annoyance. Internet was fast and reliable.
