It was a great stay. Spacious hotel with many facilities. Breakfast with many choices and was delicious. We rented bicycles and traveled in the vicinity, which was convenient. Staff service also very good! The Japanese restaurant was delicious too!

The building with a church inside is quite impressing.

Very reasonable and cozy. It has hot springs and relaxation area (plus swimming pool) Better than I expected. The hotel is located near Hayato station if you arrived at night I would like recommend you to take taxi because there is short of lights from the station. JR Hayato station has average 3 trains from Kagoshima an hour. Therefore if you planned to travel with the JR you would need to hurry up to take train when you check out. There is a convenient store lawson near the hotel. And with fifteen minutes walk there are several stores and restaurants

Clean but trapped in 1980. Traditional hard bed and flat pillows. Careful as shower is two handle (hot and cold) non pressure balanced valve. So your neighbor turns off hot and your temp will spike. Room advertised as sleeps 4 but towels for 1. Soaps are pump style multiplayer refillable bottles- Gross. Breakfast is okay, 20 minute walk to Main Street area. So a few days of rain made that enjoyable? Cab was just under3000 yen to airport

The hotel is the nicest building in the city. Didnt expect it is this big in this quiet city. The hotel also has hotspring. Room is very clean and spacious. It is 10mins walk to Aeon Mall. We enjoyed staying in this hotel a lot.

Visited the following sites, Uenohara site – Jomon Forrest/site, very quiet and all inside visiting areas were closed. Mauro Falls, nice phot opportunity. Onami Pond – walk 1.2km all uphill, however was worth the lovely views, and also gave us some exercise. Shirayama Park - fantastic views, has an old ferries wheel, however everything was closed. Not sure if everything closes as we have found many attraction at this time closed even although the weather has been good.

This hotel is in 'rural' Japan. It's about 3000 JPY taxi ride from the nearest airport. The staff was nice and the viking style breakfast was pretty good. There's not a lot to do out here within walking distance. The hotel is in need of new paint and carpet. The water in my room went from freezing to scalding hot, which made taking showers interesting. Overall, the facilities were tolerable. However, this hotel falls short of maintenance that I am accustomed to seeing in Japan.
