Worst experience ever

This was the worst hotel stay I have ever experienced, room was not ready had to wait till almost 5 to get in out from when i booked it because it should have been 3, (I called to confirm the day before)it was s VIP access room but absolutely nothing even close to a VIP anything. The bottle of wine that we never received is why they said our room wasn't ready. The staff at the front desk was both rude and refused to get anyone for me to speak with onsite even after I ask multiple different times. Then started speaking to the other staff in Spanish about me. (The couple behind me told me) as I do not speak Spanish. We missed the VIP experience of the concert ( the while reason we where in Miami) made for a a total was of money and my time thanks to this hotel. On as side not we should have had a bayview side room but instead they put us in a room on the first floor with matching none over the room features that I had booked. I totally horrible experience. We ending up leaving at 5:30am didn't want another day ruined.

Despite receiving a confirmation email and message from the hotel of my reservation, I was told my reservation was not in their system upon arrival and that they likely did not have a room for me as they were sold out. After a few awkward minutes, the hotel disclosed that their system was overbooking and they did not know why. They finally found a cancelled room for me to stay in. Disorganized and would not go back.

We stayed 4 nights over New Year’s 2025. The property was well appointed, clean, excellent cafe, and located perfectly for access to everything on South Beach. Unfortunately I received a notification from Expedia to “ask” the front desk about a complimentary VIP bottle of my choice - I didn’t like that I had to ask for this perk. After receiving the VIP white wine and drinking at the pool, we decided to bring the remainder of the bottle to the cafe and finish the evening with dessert. The manager of the cafe approached us about bringing in ‘outside’ drinks - we explained that it was from the hotel. Then the hotel manager also approached our table about our hotel wine not being allowed in the (hotel) cafe, as they were two separate entities - unbeknownst to us. We were quite embarrassed by all the attention in front of a full cafe and passersby’s. Hopefully my next VIP experience will feel a bit more exclusive…

We loved the hotel, we had a great corner room on the 10th floor. Super clean, very comfortable bed. Only thing we didn’t like was they made it seem like it was beach front. It was not, only 1 block from beach, and they have a private section of the beach which was nice. All in all, great stay and excellent staff. Would stay again!
