**Boutique hotel on Queen Street West, Toronto**
This hotel was in a good location, downtown Toronto, reasonable walking distance to subways/shops, and is on streetcar/bus routes. Stayed here for 2 nights. There were a few issues... 1- Booked a twin room, only to be told on arrival they don't have any and we'd have to share a double. Had sent three emails ahead of time to confirm the room allocation, and they didn't answer any of them. 2- Reception is up two flights of stairs, and the lift was broken for the entire duration of our stay. Not easy with heavy wheelie bags... 3- The room is TINY but well laid out - odd, though, to have the sink in the room, and not in the bathroom. 4- You would really have to know/like your travelling companion, as the bathroom is oddly laid out, so that when you slide the door across to close it, it reveals clear glass through which you can see directly into whoever is either on the toilet or in the shower! And directly opposite that glass panel, in the main room, is a full length mirror - so whether your companion looks left or right, they'll see you on the loo or in the shower.... Very odd. Overall I would recommend it only for a brief "we're only sleeping here" visit - you wouldn't/couldn't spend any significant time in the room as it's so small. However, there is a lovely rooftop terrace bar, and a ground floor restaurant (offering 15% discount + free soda), if you want to hang out.

TERRIBLE
Did not end up staying at this hotel is was so horrible! all the ratings were good but it was terrible, the service was awful, the Room was gross, the bathroom was so nasty. I tried checking out but they wouldn't give me my money back even though it was such an awful place. So I had to take the hit and still stayed somewhere else.

Too small and noisy for comfort
We were given a room on the same floor as the reception desk. The room was shockingly small and had the look and feel of a university dorm room. Sound traveled past the door to our room such that we could hear everything going on at the reception desk with our door closed. It was clear that we would hear each and every guest arrive and leave throughout the night and into the early morning. We checked out minutes after checking in and just slept at home. We're waiting for our refund.

Not so happy unless you are a small small person
The room was extremely small. Opening the room the door hit the bed. There was no place for our suitcases or bags without stepping on them. The bathroom had a sliding door which when u slid it it revealed the toilet and whoever was sitting on it, you couldn't leave the door open to compensate or you would be staring at the other person as well. I didn't even shower due to this and the space. The location is excellent.
