Clean, friendly reception And would have been higher if breakfast, which was both advertised as available and still being advertised on hotel entry web same way. Fortunately we asked what time it was served at check-in to discover only available weekends..... So Best To check.. though we found plenty of lovely options in town so silver-lining albeit, less convenient.

Accommodation separate to the main pub which was great if a little small, but certainly ok for a night or two. Lovely comfy bed in the room. Generally clean but a little detailing around the bathroom would improve things. Large carpark.

Pub itself is a little tired looking and allows dogs which we personally do not like but we knew this so it was our choice to stay

This is a very cheap B&B in a nice location and worth the price regarding room, food etc. Dinner was fresh and hot and good value. However the staff were rude bordering on condescending, we had barely put our suitcases on the floor before being asked for payment ,no enquiries about our journey or any pleasantries etc. Same for dinner and breakfast, straight away asking for payment before we had even ordered. Do realize this has to be done nowadays but other than that not one bit of interest from anyone including the manager who saw us leave and again no acknowledgement. Shame as this is a very good priced B&B but won't be returning.
