Very Good8.0
First time in Vancouver. The hostel has a very "busy" feel, but I enjoyed it. Downtown Vancouver is very walkable, and in that sense the location of the hostel was great, but the area got a little sketchy at night. The breakfast area was too busy both times I went, but it seemed to be very basic anyway. I would stay here when I return.

Terrible. Did not stay there. Was not expecting this and could not get our money refunded.

Very SAD for Vancouver and CANADA
From Athens to Zagrab over 60 countries and this has got to be the most EXPENSIVE and the WORST !

Great for the budget traveller
Liked that they have complimentary breakfast (simple affair) and luggage storage. Room was ok, and bathrooms were mediocre.

Late night party area. Be prepared for some noise.
Renos showers on my floor. Front desk offered free drink for inconvenience. Nice. Resto then said alcohol only?? I said I don't drink can I have a juice instead waitress said no? Huh?? Whatever. Also I lived on Vancouver Island/Vancouver for years. First time back in 12 years. Tons of medicinal marijuana places (I agree with this) just noticed downtown Vancouver reeked of pot pretty much everywhere I tried to go and a lot of people lighting up wherever they felt like?? Feels a little too much like Amsterdam. Sad for me to see Vancouver losing it's charm. Oh well.
