Great hotel for a couple
We spent 5 nights at this hotel. The location is perfect, with a short walk to the Victoria subway station. The neighbourhood is very quiet. The only problem with the area was that there were no stores or restaurants around. The hotel staff is wonderful. they were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was a perfect start to our day. Eggs, prepared any way you wanted, bacon, sausages, broiled tomatoes and fresh made bread, as well as fresh fruit, cereals, yougurt and danishes. The coffee was also very good. The room was small, but to be expected in London. There was adequate space to put our clothes away. The bathroom was small and we had trouble adjusting the water temperature in the shower. There are no plugs in the bathroom for a hairdryer, so had to use the hair dryer in the bedroom area but there are no mirrors in the bedroom. Overall we had an excellent stay and would stay here again and would recommend this hotel

A very good choice
My wife and I had four hectic days in busy London. The building is typical of London , the hotel is refurbished but only has a narrow staircase to access the upper floors with heavy suitcases ( no elevator ) . The staff , from front of house to the breakfast staff were excellent and very accommodating . It's proximity and value meant I was happy with our four night stay .

B B Belgravia, a clean place to stay.
The B B Belgravia was in a relatively convenient area if you are taking the coach, train, or tube. There are not a lot of restaurants and stores in the vicinity, however, but it is within walking distance of Buckingham Palace. Be careful when you book this hotel that you book for the main building (if you wish) or for the less desirable annex. In the first, there is a wonderful breakfast room. In the latter, there is a small refrigerator with continental breakfast served.

Disappointed with B B Belgravia
I chose this hotel mainly for its proximity to many popular London sights and attractions, but was very let down with the hotel itself. We are a family of four (kids aged 4 and 7) and they put us in the basement. Literally, the basement of the building! Although temperatures outside were not extreme, our basement suite was stifling. We slept with fans on and left windows open during the day. When we complained to staff, they asked simply if we had the windows open. Given that we were in the basement (i.e. windows at street level) with two young children, in one of the busiest cities in the world, I didn't think it safe to sleep with the windows open, nor should we be expected to do so. After our complaint, we were given a bottle of wine and cupcakes. This was a nice gesture, but not enough to make up for highly inadequate accommodations.
