Looking tired
Stayed here many times but looking and feeling a tad shabby now. There was no soap provided, the bedroom had only received a superficial clean. Sheets and towels were clean and the breakfast was excellent. Will probably seek an alternative next time.

We stayed in the duplex apartments in the courtyard. The place was clean, cosy, good quality beds etc... the one major thing for us was that we were promised aircon in all the rooms. What we got was a broken plug in aircon unit in the main upstairs triple bedroom that was clearly broken and a known fault to the hotel since they tried to tape the hose to the wall but it had clearly come loose and impossible to reconnect. That meant our children had a sweltering night where temperatures reached 36degrees in their bedroom. We had to have cold baths throughout the night and the children slept on the carpet downstairs in the end because of the heat. All we had downstairs was a cheap fan, so no air-con there either. If we were coming back we would not do so in the summer.

Great stopover hotel. Difficult to assess fully due to Covid restrictions. Great value though. Difficult access though narrow lane to car park made worse by toad works outside! Didn’t have breakfast but all in all, a great value stay.

Room for 5 not for young families
We stayed in a room for 5 which had 3 beds upstairs but I would warn against anyone with young children using it as the stairs are narrow, twisty and steep. The door to the upstairs bedroom didn't close because of the bed in the way. The huge bathroom has a separate toilet and 2 sinks with a large bath but the shower is just a handheld hose and the toilet seat was broken. It is in a great, central location and is an attractive building with lots of character. It was clean. We didn't realise the parking wasn't free but it was only a few Euros for the night.

last minute booking as didnt want to drive any more after 9 hours of driving so stayed here as was tired. place was clean. accepted dogs which was good. room was small but adequate for one person. overpriced and charged for breakfast. lovely town. chose because of car park too.

Overbooked with no notice.
Reception area was dark, no lights. Person there said they overbooked so late at night with no notice we had no hotel. The person there got us another hotel in town so we weren’t stranded again. Hotels.com still has not resolved this refund—we were told this would be a free night due to the problem but this has not been done as of July 1st.
