Minnesota getaway
The stay was good (3 nights / 2 rooms). The service and front desk staff were great; very friendly. I'd recommend two things. 1. The breakfast food provider needs to be upgraded. Everything was just warmed and pre-cooked somewhere else. I really like a good breakfast and this was not a good breakfast. The people were helpful and nice. But real eggs are a must for a good breakfast. The fitness center is also too small. Other than that, the place and service were great.

Park Point Duluth
Delightful stay. Morgan and Hunter greeted me and were very helpful. Room was comfortable. I did share that the room clock needed to be updated and the TV remote batteries were probably due to be changed. I enjoyed the hot tub but with the jets operating the smell of the chemicals was very strong. I ended up turning off the jets and just enjoying the warm water. Pool was refreshing. Breakfast was good. Actually the BEST WAFFLE I've ever had--and I've had plenty of hotel waffles. The attendant has the batter dialed in perfectly! We will be back.

Disgusted
I didn’t end up staying there because I had a family emergency. After Hotels.com heard about my situation, the gentleman I spoke with was great in helping me ask for either a refund or a change of date. After the hotel said they had a strict policy, I called the hotel myself to explain the situation. I can’t believe they can’t make an exception when a family member is on their last breath. The manager just kept telling me that they have a strict policy, the rest of the hotel was full, and it’s highly unlikely they would be able to resell that room. I think they could have easily refunded my $250.00 or offered a change of date. I’m highly disgusted they don’t have an emergency clause. I wouldn’t recommend staying there.

We always enjoy staying at Park Point Marina....very clean pleasant room, helpful but not overbearing staff. Excellent breakfast..my companion also commented on how nice it was!
