Rooms and beds were very comfy, not particularly fancy, but well laid out. We all slept great. Views from hotel were amazing. Got in after dark and were blown away when we woke up. Volcano and lake view. I would say better than staying on Fortuna side. Breakfast was included and was really good. Would recommend and go back!

Views to die for
You could not get a better spot for uniterripted views of lake and volcano with no himan dwellings in site. Sit in volcanically warmed jacuzzi and stare put at paradise. Staff are so friendly and helpful too. Much better than tacky La Fortuna to base your stay.

Astonishing views
The hotel has very friendly staff and absolutely astonishing views of Arenal Volcano and lake. Very clean warm water infinity pool. Rooms are dated but everything seems to be in order, double beds are full size mostly, not queen with one pillow per person, covers seemed older. Breakfast is free, not a buffet style, you have to order, but you can get extra if not enough. Overall a beautiful property if you are not too picky about rooms.

A volcanic jacuzzi
Magical place. View is surely one of the best vantage points on the planet with volcano to right and the uninterrupted view down across nothing but green forest to lake. Not another human dwelling to be seen for miles around. Plus you can see all this sitting in hot volcanic spa jacuzzi.

This is such a lovely property. Was happy to hear when we arrived that they have a strict noise policy. We enjoyed the pool, but the jacuzzi water was not warm. Pool water, though was delightfully warm. (Our stay was in December.) Wished the walls were not so thin. In spite of the “no noise” rule, we could hear conversations from the room next door and above us. But otherwise, we loved the location and having the restaurant onsite.
