Beware this place is not safe
The accommodation itself was sufficient for our sight seeing trip. However it was spoilt by lady living upstairs being very aggressive shouting and screaming in my face when I came into the building on the first evening. On the second afternoon she started shouting at me when I saw her again and her daughter followed me up the street taking photos of me which I found very intimidating and violating. I reported both incidents to owner of accommodation who said it was my fault for not closing the lift properly. However I was not the one who left the lift open and I feel the lady was given free reign to terrorise me. Other guests were horrified at how my son and I were treated.

This was the most horrific experience ever. There is no way anyone can find this hotel. If it wasn’t for my Uber driver physically walking me to the door of a building that had a button on the outside and the tiny name written on the wall with an intercom I would had not known where to go. There are no signs no indication that this is a hotel. Once you enter the building you have no idea where to go. A lady came down the elevator and she spoke no English and took us up to our room. Our room smells like pure sewer literally. The fumes were coming from the restroom. There was a used nasal spray and tissues with Needles under the bed. This honestly should not be considered a hotel but it should be considered someone’s personal apartment. You have absolutely no service, nobody to contact in the “hotel”. They give you no shampoo and no soap. By far in all my travels this was the worst experience. We found the number to the person supposedly running the facility and he had me WhatsApp him photos of the restroom and etc. like it was my fault that his restroom smelled horrifically and to top it off the shower bar holding the showerhead was completely broken. If you want to eat breakfast you need to go to another tiny room dig in the bottom floor cabinet for Twinkies and bread. There are personal documents like bills and papers address to people lying around the facility. I would never recommend this place. The only positive I have to say is that the location is fantastic. Beware

Nice location,friendly & in a great neighborhood
A clean, simple yet adequate place, very close to the Colosseum & Metro A line which will get you to most of Rome's major sights. Sits in a quiet residential neighborhood with supermarkets, restaurants & cafés close by. Use of a kitchen & refrigerator. The breakfast was ample. Bread, cakes, yoghurt, tea, coffee, juice etc. A simple & tasty start to the day before heading off on your Roman adventures. Similar price as a hostel but with the privacy of a hotel. The friendly staff were helpful & welcoming. There is no manned reception, so you mostly have the place to yourself apart from one or two other guest's. Definitely a great place if you have a limited budget and you like the convenience of it's location, which was perfect.
