Great staff and clean rooms!
This small hotel offers reasonable prices for a standard hotel room with simple/basic amenities (fridge in room, A/C, local bar open in evening, and cable). Rooms/linens were clean and mattresses seemed fairly new. The pool and patio area was well-maintained and we spent a lot of time just relaxing there. It's also at a great location with easy walking distance to many different restaurants/bars along the coast. Note that this entire coastline isn't the best for lounging on the actual beach/going into the water because of coral/boats, but quite a few restaurants that sit on docks extending from the beach have places to jump in the water that do not have a lot of coral. The staff (Tula, John, and Clive) was excellent and super friendly! They also have an overnight security guard that helped me feel safer. I'd recommend this hotel for the cost-conscious individuals who are more interested in a nice room to sleep and plan on being out and about the island rather than just staying at the hotel.

Great stay, accommodating staff (Tula)
Tula, the general manager, was very accommodating. Picked us up from the ferry and helped accommodate a late check out. Nice pool, right on the beach and a bar on site too with a free welcome drink. Music was on at the bar until later in the evening but the whole beach area is noisy with music as this is the party area. Would definitely recommend.

Tula was so easy to communicate with and Clive ( bartender) was super friendly. Met new friends hanging out by the pool daily and there was a nice feel to the property. Centrally located to everything you could possibly need with ample golf cart parking and a great view of the beach. Highly recommend the Ocean Tide!
