Fabulous room but air conditioning would have been beneficial.

Pillar Pillar blocking the wall . who is....
The hotel was having work done during the lockdown of the pandemic COVID-19 but apart from initial check you would never had noticed. Greeted by rather gruff security guards who at first insisted the hotel was closed then handed me to a manager who checked me in as arranged. After this hiccup the stay was excellent with the exception of a huge building support pillar in the room which couldn’t have been more awkwardly positioned If they tried. I image this room and the one above and below are the last to be sold. It’s part of the building and they have built the room around it but I think it would be better made into a large storeroom or similar as I for one wouldn’t have accepted this room in more normal times as the price is the same as any other double room. I’ve been offered it before !

Excellent value for money !
Very friendly check in staff, nothing is ever a problem . Clean , well appointed rooms for the price in a good size space . Shower and toilet quite compact with a noisy extractor being the only snag in my regular short stay . Excellency!

Only a bedside table on one side of a double bed
Our only issue really was that in this hotel ALL rooms with a double bed only have a bedside table and lamp on one side which meant for the 3 nights we stayed my wife could not read in bed or put her glasses beside the bed or a cup of water. Seems crazy to design a room like that. If I was aware I would not have booked.

Just one night to make an impression
It was only one night but the lovely young lady on reception was exceptional. Polite, happy and very helpful in helping me find the “Easy Tiger Pub” even marked it on a map for me. The hotel was wonderfully clean and the breakfast was lovely with choice. Thank you to all the staff, we shall come again.

Will stay again...
Stayed here for new year, staff were great, the room was the same condition as I’ve found in other (what I consider) first class hotels. Only down fall I had was unlike other hotels, the tv had NO input ports, so I was unable to hook my laptop or any other devices up to it etc (lucky I had my mini projector just in case). Otherwise the stay was enjoyable
