The atmosphere is amazing. Breakfast was ok. However, I really suggest you find somewhere to eat dinner. After waiting for two hours and others being served before me on my first night, the food was only half good. The second time I asked for chicken Alfredo and was literally given a bowl of pasta without any meat. Needless to say I only ate dinner there two out of the six nights that I was there. Was there for a friends wedding and the service for the wedding and atmosphere was amazing.

I had a one night stay and was very disappointed. I was staying at an area beyond the pool, and when I got there they were people sitting on the patio chairs right at my bedroom windows. The were playing music and very loud. I couldn’t hear the TV playing in my room. I requested for a room change but I was told that no other room was available, but they will have the security asked the other guests to take their music to their rooms. I don’t know if that was done or not , but the noise continued for a very long time in the night, as it seems as if one person was celebrating their birthday and there were a few friends staying at the hotel to celebrate together. The staff was friendly and the meal was good, even though the breakfast options were limited. The hotel is at a nice location, and would have enjoyed my stay as it not been my discomfort in my room from the noisy guests sitting at the front of my bedroom window. That experience alone will make me not want to go back to that property

I'll make this as brief but straight to the point as possible. The pics under standard room are deceivingly posted. I had no windows to open, they were tinted, so absolutely no sun, there were insects, the sheets were terrible, the air condition's remote was faded so you had to play the wheel of fortune to get it to work. The lights flickered. The nearby church and corner store etc blared music until 4am. The walls were so thin you could hear every single guest interaction. The pool left a lot to be desired. No phone in the room, took 15min for them to find beach towels. An entire mess. Front desk staff did zero to accommodate, moved like snails, and just didn't care. Asked if they could turn on the jacuzzi, never did. Covid test day they told me the covid guy wasn't coming because he was full and instructed me to catch the taxi to one off site. Simply put.. don't do it.

LOVED: 1. STAFFING: A. The housekeeping staff are the stars of the operation and they were highly professional yet friendly. B. The Almond Tree staff are excellent and friendly. 2. FOOD: The Almond Tree food was delicious and served with care and excellence. 3. ENVIRONMENT: This was a quiet, beautiful place. Excellent for the wedding I attended. DISLIKED: 1. LACK OF COMMUNITY CONNECTION, SUPPORT & ENGAGEMENT: The hotel is right in the town and the grounds are immaculate. But there was little evidence that they did any community development or that they worked to make the areas nearest to them on the streets outside of the property attractive. 2. SAFETY: There was also no phone in the room or intercom system that allowed guests to interact with the front desk when needed. Every time a guest needs to communicate with the front desk, the guest has to trek over. UNSAFE
