  • 4.0.Fair

Not a good experience, will not return.

Good: location Not Good: End up charged twice with currency conversion fee. For unknown reason, the hotel charges in your home currency and has a disclaimer (never seen one before) on the receipt that you were offered a choice of currency and you accepted the conversion rate (unusually high) and the final amount in your home currency. Even though you were not given a chance to read the disclaimer before making the payment.

    Disappointing. Super budget.

Common areas of hotel were nice. Location good, but the room itself left a lot to be desired. Thin walls. ZERO amenities in the room. No iron,(there is an “ironing room” down the hall) no luggage rack, no closet, only a few hangers), no coffee. The bed was sagging and uncomfortable. I wouldn’t book this again even if it were half the price.

The location was fantastic - close proximity to railway station & historical district. Room was very clean, but quite small by North American standards. Bathroom was very modern, but they definitely need to put in more shelving. Front desk staff was very accommodating as we arrived at 10:00 am and since our room was available, they let us check in early. Excellent value for the price.

Good overall except we didnt get what we asked for

Overall our stay was ok considering we were out the whole day and only slept at the hotel. At arrival 10am, we were disappointed that we were not able to check in even when it clearly says on our confirmed booking that it was 24 hr check in (through Hotel app). Nico extended his welcomed to us to a on the house continental breakfast before we head to visit the town. I guess it was ok but we would have love to freshen up from a 7hr flight. Once we were able to check in and nap, we then realized that the hotel gave us the wrong room that we paid for. Gave us queen instead of king and wrong floor. Not a big deal i guess since, again, we just needed to sleep there. They did not do anything for us to make it right for a wrong room given. We didnt want to waste our time changing room since we were already settled. Location and staff were good just make sure you get what you paid for in advance of paying the hotel.

Nice hotel with friendly staff. Bed was very confortable and although the room was small it was perfect for a few nights in the city.

Nice hotel, but needs refresh especially patio.

Check in was a breeze, lobby area dusty and needs refresh. Patio area is tired and needs fixing. Loose deck boards, I fell in one. I informed a staff, but he didn't do anything. I was told to keep an eye on yellow warning thingy... Our room was clean and sufficient for our needs - although no body lotion provide, shampoo/body soap is limited - we have to remind staff to replenish. Turn-down service efficient. Good location. Check out was quick.

The hotel and bedroom was clean.. The gentlemen on reception who checked us in was polite and very helpful with information. However our room was opposite a building site, i thought nothing of this when we checked in However the next morning to be woken up at 7am was disappointing.

Great value for money central hotel

Check in was friendly and helpful. Room was a reasonable size and had been properly cleaned. Had a drink in the bar which was nice and safe. Would have preferred a few more toiletries but that's my only issue, Good location a short walk from Parc Metro and not far downhill walk to Grand Place. Current price is very good value for money.
