Great hotel!
The trip was for a family weekend. Everything was great, the only negative was the people above us were very noisy. I don't know if it is an insulation issue. Not really the hotels fault but the sound was very loud. We could hear the trains early in the morning so maybe next time try the other end of the hotel. Everything else was great!

Nice hotel
great location and nice hotel. Better breakfast than most US hotels, but still a far cry from European hotels. The only thing that I don't like about Residence Inn hotels is those walk-in showers. If they had a sliding door that completely seals the shower from water getting all over the floor, that would be a HUGE improvement. It is an odd design, and creates. lot more work for their housekeeping staff.

Excellent hotel
This is a fab hotel with excellent staff. We were on a recreational/ site seeing trip and we loved the location. You won't get a better hotel for the price in the Pearl District. This place is funky and the rooms are well planned and equipped. We loved the small details that were thought of to make our stay great. The free breakfast is pretty good. We're vegan and vegetarian and there were options for us. The area has lots of walkable bars, restaurants and galleries, as well as being close to public transportation and a couple of grocery stores (useful as the rooms have well equipped kitchens). Bed was super comfy and it was a quiet comfortable stay. We will definitely stay again when we return to Portland.
