    Not the service we expected.
My husband wanted to stay here as it was brand new, and he got a room for a really good deal. However, since we used a third party (hotels.com) we arrived to find that the Hyatt had overbooked and so they moved us to a Hampton inn a few blocks away...no email warning from Hotels.com or Hyatt...as well, the Hyatt staff sent us to the Hilton Gardens, the closer hotel, but still incorrect, so by the time it was all figured out, with an inferior room, I must add, we lost 2 hours of our travel time, which prevented our family from trekking down to explore Providence that evening. Highly disappointing. What is to prevent a hotel from reneging on a contract and offering inferior rooms in the neighbouring older hotels? When I complained tohotels.com, I got a terrible response. There’s been no effort on either party to compensate.

    Very Good 8.0
Construction noise and shady looking neighbourhood
Front desk staff were great! Very friendly! Hotel was clean and breakfast was good and plentiful with lots of variety. Beds were just ok, pillows were not good. There's construction across from the hotel on the "pool view" side. This will last for quite a while as they're putting up a high rise building. We could hear the work crews at 7am sharp so there was no sleeping in. The area was not convenient for walking to sites or even food or convenience items. There's a Wendy's and McDonald's nearby but that's it. We used über during our stay and our rides back to the hotel at night made us realize this was not a great area. I wouldn't recommend walking around if you don't know the area, especially at night.

Hotel is good but the area no
The hotel itself is very good. But the location and the noise level from the street are not. It says it all when you see an ambient noise generating machine and ear plugs in the room. Hotel located in a regenerating area (NE) and I do not feel as safe as in the NW.

    Good 6.0
The area to the left of the hotel is definitely in development but overall very close to a lot of great tourist sights and restaurants. Keep in mind they don't have a fan in the bathroom so it takes time to clear out after a shower and other things. Fresh lemon water in the lobby was an excellent touch and they had a fun little happy hour during the stay that gave out drinks and food.

The area where the hotel was made us very uncomfortable. It was run down and seedy looking. Hotel looks nothing like the picture
