Good budget hotel in a great location
The location is fantastic, easy walking distance to Insadong and the subway. Rooms are decent, following the philosophy of just what you need and nothing more to run up the price, which is perfect if it's what you're looking for. Breakfast is also pretty basic. The photos of the lobby and common areas taken by the professional photographer make it look way better than it does in person. They do have a nice little roof deck to hang out on.

- How to find the hotel. It might be a bit difficult to find the hotel in the first time but after you stay. It very easy go get to the hotle and go around Seoul. Near by subway station and airport bus stop (6011). - The Hotel staff very kind and helpful. - The service is good. The room is in nice size for 2 not too small. The bathroom a bit tight but not too bad. Hot and cold shower working really well. The heating floor is really comfortable for winter, especially after you came back from outside. - The room was clean and bath towels got changed everyday also 2 bottles of the water as complementary. Bed sheets if you want to change can inform the desk before you leave for your day so they will change for you otherwise the staff will not touch your personal belongings in the room. - Walkable to many places; palaces, temple, Insa-dong street, myeongdong street, Namsan Towel. - G25 shop just right at the corner of the hotel so very easy for late night meal.

Average Budget Hotel Option
This hotel is a bit difficult to find. Tucked away in some of the narrow alleyways of Seoul. However, the location is good next to a neighborhood full of local flavor and the subway stations within walking distance nearby. The room itself was small, mostly consumed by the two beds that were put together, and the mattresses were hard. We asked for another soft cushion at the front desk and that helped a bit with the comfort. The bathroom is tiny, but was very clean when we arrived. I liked that they had windows that you could open in the room and bathroom with screens on the outside. The staff were kind and friendly. The breakfast in the morning doesn't have much variety, but it has enough to get you going (eggs, bread, muffins, cereal, coffee). The hotel provides two bottles of drinking water each day. There's a rooftop terrace that has a cool view of the mountain. Good enough to explore Seoul by day and come back to fall asleep before the next day of sightseeing.
