The price we payed was crazy this place is nothing like what it is in there pictures. Our room was small the stains on the cups and the teaspoons. Bathroom was poor the breakfast is something awful it is just some tables put together and then some stuff put out on it. The stander is definitely the lowest I have ever stayed in. Definitely would not recommend for any one to stay here. Message to the Hotel GM I really think you need to go and sit down and maybe look at offer a better stander and not just getting people in and out. If a room is not up to standard why let someone stay in it if your breakfast is not something you will eat why offer it. If you go and look at the stander maybe you will find you will get return customer.

Old decoration and not clean Very noisy from the night club, breakfast only cold and not much choice

The stay served its purpose in giving me a bed for the night. The view outside of the room was of a grey filthy alley where anybody could look into the room so I kept the blinds shut throughout my stay. The walls are paper thin so I could hear the people in the next room all morning which didn't help sleeping, the same noise was doubled by the cleaning staff early on so no oppurtunity to sleep in. I do not feel that the room provided value for the cost.

Brighton beauty
Great location -- close to the pier, the Lanes, and other attractions. Room was cozy and comfortable. Very nice, updated bathroom with a big shower (important!). Bathroom sink still had two taps...very British but not always practical. Bed was very comfortable, and I slept like a baby. Staff was incredible...very friendly and helpful. The attached restaurant served a good and filling breakfast of cereals, pastries, and fruit. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay, and I look forward to returning one day.

Best hotel in Brighton
I took my partner here for her birthday. I picked this hotel because of the central location and I was not disappointed, right in the centre of Brighton with beautiful sea views and we were lucky enough to stay in a very spacious room with a view of the sea and the pier. The staff were incredible and very welcoming. the amount of times my partner and I have stayed in Brighton in various hotels its safe to say we will never stay anywhere else again, we will always return to The Amsterdam. thank you for a pleasant stay!!

Brighton hideaway
Great place for a short visit. Room as suggested was noisy at night but didn't overly concern. Great retreat and location for exploring southern coast

Good stay
Really friendly staff and I liked the hotel. The rooms should all have fans when it’s hot. The continental breakfast was disappointing and the weekend we stayed the full English breakfast was not available
