Great location and staff. Good room
Good location, great staff. They spoke english almost perfectly, very impressive. The room was great and you could rent bicycles. One of the best of my trip, although the view wasn't as impressive.

Perfect quiet location
Great location. Family mart and 711 just around the corner and a lot of local restaurants a few blocks away. Yamanote line also nearby.

Great little stop-over..
This place had everything I needed for a little stop-over before heading on to Kyoto.. In a little alley near a bunch of great ramen joints, and conveniently located within walking distance of a station, it has the feel of a back-packer hostel.. The room I had was a little small, but that said, had everything I needed (TV which I didn't use and a fridge for cold beers, etc.) Deep shower/bath combo, comfy bed.. A heap of great little polaroid shots of people having a whole heap of fun, shame I wasn't there on a more livelier night.. :) All in all, a great little out of the way place to rest and have some fun.. :)

Oak Hostel, better than a Hostel
Lovely area filled with huge amount of restaurants, staff were lovely and really helpful on where to go and what to see. Rooms are well furnished but the walls are quite thin so if you have loud neighbours you know about it! Good shared facilities.
