it's ok, but definitely needs some TLC
It is ok, but some rooms are not updated and have carpet from 30 years ago, old, nasty and stained. The lake views are nice though. But it is hit or miss with the rooms in terms of renovation and cleanliness. Our room had not working phone, fireplace, stained old carpet and dirty bathroom when we arrived.

Nice resort for a short vacation
Beautiful property on a private beach, decent breakfast and good, well-priced restaurant for dinner. Our room on the 3rd floor was large and had a nice view of the lake. But the a/c had problems, just the fan was working, not the cooling system. Quite uncomfortable in the early Sept. heat. The hallway carpeting was worn out and dirty, I hope it will be replaced soon. Very helpful and friendly staff, especially at the restaurant. A good experience overall, we will be back.

Great Stay!
Lovely two night stay. First visit. Great location and nice beach. Resort and rooms were very clean. Appreciated the complimentary breakfast and use of kayaks, canoes and pedal boats. Pool was great as well. Staff were very nice…and helpful. Definitely will be going back.
