Awesome and Blissful experience
This was an excellent stay, I have never had such a wonderful experience with a hotel. They made our anniversary such a special event and the communication between staff was remarkable. I work in this industry and they are the best I've seen.

A friendly stay at a world class resort
The Kayon Resort is a stunning property maintained by some of the friendliest and kindest staff I have ever encountered at any location. The rooms are beautiful and comfortable, the ease of travel into and out of central Ubud utilizing the hotel shuttle is a huge plus and the on site restaurant offers delicious local fare and plenty of other more familiar options to suit the average traveler for meals eaten on site. I don't know when I'll be back in Bali, but I will be strongly considering another stay at the Kayon Resort when I do get back there.

Exceptional boutique experience
We staid in Kayon for two nights as part of our trip around Bali. The hotel is truly exceptional in multiple dimensions - be it friendliness and attentiveness of the staff or beautiful hand made decorative elements. We staid in the garden view/deluxe room which amazing but regret not booking the riverview room as it comes even with a nicer ambience. We booked the Balinese massage at the SPA which was done with a good technique and some very decent oils (a strong 4). However, the whole experience is made particularly enjoyable given the ambience of the waterfall and surrounding in general. Would recommend to try out. Breakfast was amazing with a very wide range of options on the menu. We also had lunch in the Jetty and a dinner at the Kepitu. Both were OK, but fell short of our very high expectations given the quality of the hotel in general (local dishes were very good, but we felt that the Western dishes lacked a bit of chacter and some salads were a bit too acidic). That said, service quality and general setting in the restaurants is exceptional and more than compensated for the overall experience. Would suggest to give it a try at both venues but stick to signature dishesh.

Beautiful resort in Ubud
It’s a fantastic hotel in a quiet part of Ubud. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, the free Yoga classes are nice and the view from the infinity pool is beautiful. One thing to be prepared for is that you will need to get a taxi or driver to take you to Ubud village. Not a big deal if you want to enjoy the resort and go for day trips now and then. But going back and forth to the resort would be harder (or at least pricey) due to its location. The Spa at the resort is also nice and convenient, but you pay for that convenience as it’s twice as expensive as other top (non resort) Spas in Ubud.
