We've been to Taichung many times and have always relied on Hotels.com's user-rating to be our guide. Hung's Mansion did not disappoint. While it's not located in the center of all the attractions in Taichung, most places are within 10-15 minutes drive away. So, this is NOT your place, if you expect to find attractions or shops nearby. The nearest shopping area is about half kilometer away. That said, the hotel is 10-year old, but kept in pristine condition. The room was large as was the bathroom. The bed was very comfortable and WIFI adequate. The service is friendly and the buffet breakfast was good. One minor problem we found was that one of the two glasses in the bathroom was not properly washed. It still had toothpaste stain on it. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and will probably come back again.
