Wonderful stay!
My stay was great! I had a room giving to the garden and it was very quiet. The breakfast has many options. The heated floor and towel rack in the bathroom is appreciated too! The only call out is that they do not have washcloths so bring your own. I had a wonderful week staying there. I highly recommend.

Maybe Luxurious Once, But No Longer
The building is extremely beautiful and the management seems to have decided to simply coast on that. I believe this was not originally the case--for example, there were towel heaters in our bathroom, but in October 2017 they were permanently stone cold. The character of the old school that this building was has been lost on the interior due to ugly "hotel carpeting" everywhere, and the corridors smelled very strongly of some kind of incense that was quite off-putting. The beds were very comfortable, but the air temperature control was not great, and, especially with the very warm duvets we were provided, my husband and I found it too hot for sleeping, even with the windows open as much as possible. We were on the second floor, and there was also the issue--during the day and evening--of the mind-numbing music being played in the foyer and restaurant downstairs coming up through the floor, making post-jetlag naps unpleasant. The continental breakfast was fine--nothing special, but also nothing to complain about. Service was also fine, although there was no feeling that anybody particularly cared about the comfort of our stay. Just "by the book" courtesy. Our daughter is in London studying, so we will be visiting this area frequently. I already spent a few days at the nearby W14, which has a considerably lower price point and general atmosphere of comfort, and this visit was supposed to be a more luxurious stay, but I must say I preferred the other hotel.

Great hotel (seasoned London hotel traveller)
Hotel is more of a 4.5* heading to 5. I stay in London every week and this is the only hotel I always check to see if it's within budget. Good service, good rooms, great breakfast, pretty good location if you work in central London.

St Paul’s, a lovely gem.
A little gem in the middle of a very busy area. Staff just fantastic, warm welcoming an so friendly, the owners should be proud of them. We would certainly stay again, an highly recommend.
