We stayed 4 nights and couldn’t have stayed longer. Developed a really bad cough from the amount of mold in the bathroom. Wouldn’t stay again. The pool area was okay but in a state of mild disrepair, boards broken, screws sticking out. Beautiful sculptures all around the property and the location was perfect, to note some positives.

Very Good8.0
great location!
this hotel is in a great location. just a block away from Khao San Road so far enough that it's fairly quiet. the rooms are simple but comfortable. I only have 2 windows in my room and both were in the bathroom. one window only had bamboo across the window and no screen. I asked to change rooms and they were going to switch the next day. I changed my mind as I realized it wasn't that big of a deal. stay here if you want a conveniently located, nicely priced, simple hotel.

Beware of Villa Cha Cha
Wanting a pool, we booked Villa Cha Cha with a positive attitude and an open mind. The restaurant out front and the decor in the lobby looked nice. We checked in and were shown to our room and immediately were disappointed. There was a massive construction site outside our window that we decided obviously wasn't the hotel's fault and we backed on to a really dirty alleyway. The windows in the main room were basically paper thin, the bed was extremely uncomfortable, the towels and sheets were stained and tattered. The washroom wasn't air conditioned and one of the windows in there didn't have glass, just a screen and some bamboo bars pinned the the wall (not even bolted). I looked at the window over the toilet and when I pulled back the curtain I realized THERE WASNT EVEN A SCREEN IN THE WINDOW. It was just the bamboo bars pinned to the frame. I immediately felt unsafe as we were only one floor up with a weird balcony (that wasn't really a balcony, just a ledge with a wall about as tall as my legs) that someone could easily get on to and come into our room, not to mention bugs and other things. We checked out of the hotel 2 days early. I would suggest that anyone booking at Villa Cha Cha, do a full check of the room before staying to make sure the windows actually have glass or at least a screen
