The hotel and staff were great but thanks to a mistake by Expedia and their lack of communication or effort to fix the situation I ended paying way over extra for my stay. This was the second situation while in Costa Rica that ended up costing me a great deal of money, plus one which was a tour that didn’t exist that Expedia promised they were going to fix and never did. The hotel and staff were amazing don’t use Expedia to book anything. Go to a different site or book directly with the hotel.

Paradise! Beautiful rooms exceptional service, staff was super friendly great tours offered through the hotel. Levi is an excellent tour guide, Spa wonderful! Alexander really made us laugh driving us to and from dinner!! Eric , Fernanda and Sebastian at the front desk were all great !! Grace was an excellent waitress and Deanna was quite personable a manager of one of the restaurants, can’t wait to go back!! Everyone went out of their way to make my friends birthday extra special!

Property was stunning. I was however very disappointed in the confusion created around Expedia booking. It was clear on line that payment was due AT property. However hotel took payment 30 days in advance without following terms with Expedia. To top it off upon arrival the hotel representative told me that the property was having issue getting payment from Expedia. They asked for payment. I provided proof of charge already having been paid. This is inexcusable. On the hotel offered a bottle of wine and letter of apology which was appreciated. MUST do better to receive 5 star.
