Staff doesn't speak English, breakfast not so good. The location is great - right beside the train station, but it's far from Taichung city center.

The shower drain was clogged. Breakfast selection was limited. Overall it was a decent hotel, but fell well below expectation because it was rated 4 stars by Expedia. I would give it 3 stars at the very most.

Great staff. Location is central and just across the street from the train station. Hall smelled of cigarette smoke rooms didn't. Breakfast was quite nice, traditional Taiwanese. Bike rentals across the street. Shopping near by.

Hotel that's worth it :)
Definitely I will choose this hotel again if any chance to revisit. Spacious room at fair price and with good breakfast. Plus the bed is really comfortable. The best location which is right next to the train station surely provides the most convenience to me.
