Good weekend.
Only complaint was not the hotels fault but noisy other guests. Because of the age of the building the floor boards were very squeaky and the people in the room above were very heavy footed and loud talkers, late night and early morning.

pretty and welcoming
This hotel is really pretty and quirky, as you can see from the photos. It's clean and well-run, and the communal areas are lovely. The staff could not be more welcoming and helpful. My room, at the top of the hotel, was quite small and dark, with a slight feeling of budget, particularly in the tiny bathroom. Until the school children arrive at the school opposite, my room was wonderfully quiet, and perfectly good for sleeping in - which is primarily what one is after, I'd have thought.
