Poor 2.0
Cold room and shower bad
Very cold room. Also during the night most of the day radiator was cold. In bathroom there is no heater and was very very cold. In bathroom shower has only 1pipe and water was cold so I couldn't make shower. When radiator is working makes a big annoyng noise.I told to reception about that and said that is an automated system. Internet is low quality and lot of disconnections. Parking is large with video cameras but not safe. Any stranger can enter inside. Gate is open all day and only at 23:00 is closed that is not good. Breakfast is poor, english type but without mushrooms and potatoes bread. No fresh fruits or cakes or yogurt. Doors slam because of wind inside or when others open doors.

Pleasant Stay
My stay was for my six monthly visit to Queen Elizabeth Hospital and to take our Grandchildren to dinner. The hotel was clean, reception very helpful and the room comfortable. It’s not four star but a good bed. .

Would happily stay here again
Very comfortable beds and very clean, large room and bathroom. We were at the back and it was quiet, and the hotel was quiet too although it was a Saturday night. Warm and friendly welcome. The optional breakfast was nice - basic English breakfast, cereal, porridge, toast. Really appreciated the car park, fridge in our family room and high chair in the dining room. We only stayed one night but would have no hesitation about staying here again.

Very comfortable and great value - recommended
Friendly greeting on arrival and everything was explained to us. The room was much larger than the average hotel room and had a fridge and everything you'd expect. The shower was a bit small and not very powerful but that was my only complaint. A great value room with free secure parking and a cheap taxi ride from Edgbaston cricket ground.

Lovely clean hotel with staff that are so helpful
My daughter was admitted to the nearby Queens Elizabeth hospital so i booked last minute. The staff were wonderful, I arrived about 9.30 pm and was given a choice of rooms. I decided to have the double room, the lady said it was noisier in the front, but i said i was happy with that. The room was lovely and i sat down on one of the chairs and thought i should really have gone for a back room. I went to reception and the lady said that wasn't a problem at all and took me up to a family room at the back of the hotel. I was given this room for the same price. The next morning they phoned a taxi for me to go to the hospital. The rooms are spotlessly clean, and the staff were all lovely. I had stayed at this hotel previously, where we had a triple room, that room was lovely as well. On that occasion the staff kept reception open until midnight for us to book in. All the rooms have a little fridge and tea and coffee facilities. A lovely hotel with caring staff, I will be using this hotel whenever we have to visit the hospital.
