Needs some improvements
The hospitality was wonderful. I would say things that need improvement would be probably having mini refrigerators in the rooms, the toilets in the rooms to be a bit higher, or at least ADA compliance. Beach chairs to be a bit more comfortable. They have some plastic ones. Key for room are traditional like house keys. It’s not like a card system. Would be nice if they offered traditional Salvadorian. But overall the location is beautiful. Their restaurants are nice. I would say you have to be mobile in order to get around the premises. If your wheelchair bound it’s not an ideal place to take your loved ones or yourself. Also, it would be nice to see that little trash laying around the resort being picked up. I never saw trash pick being done during my 6 day stay.

I have been visiting Atami Resort for the last 10 years and every year they improve. This is my favorite spot in El Salvador, its beautiful. My daughter who is 7, has grown up visiting there since she was born annually, and she loves it. The staff is amazing , and Glenda, at the front desk,was most accomodating and professional. The facilities are well maintained, and the views, surf, and water are world class. A tropical paradise. They are my first choice when in Salvador. Thank u Atami.

Front office staff overcharging stay, I found cheaper and more affordable prices on the website. Room quality was poor. The room didn’t have towels. The room had an awful smell. Poor customer service. The hammock area wasn’t clean a lot of tree leaves on the floor and regular trash. However, the view of the ocean and the access to the salt water pools are undeniable the main reason to stay be aware of the lack of customer service and cleanliness.
