"**Overall Review – The Naka**
We had an enjoyable stay at The Naka, with several highlights alongside a few drawbacks.
**Pros:**
The private beach is a standout feature, offering decent snorkeling and a peaceful setting. The villas are beautifully designed with a minimalist aesthetic, though some practical additions would improve comfort—such as drying racks for wet bathing suits, additional hooks, and shelves under the bathroom sink. The food was consistently good, and the staff were friendly and welcoming.
**Cons:**
The villas are quite close to each other, making the experience highly dependent on neighboring guests. Unfortunately, in our case, our neighbors were a group that was very loud and frequently played loud music, which disrupted the otherwise serene atmosphere. If we were to return, we would make sure to avoid being located near the larger four-bedroom villas.
**Advice to Management and Expedia:**
We booked a villa with payment on arrival, but were contacted in advance by the hotel requesting prepayment. Resolving this took time and caused unnecessary stress. Better alignment between Expedia and the hotel on payment terms would improve the experience.
**Advice to The Naka:**
The property’s strength lies in its tranquil and serene environment, which we believe is a key reason guests choose to stay here. To preserve this, we suggest clearer communication of expectations regarding noise levels and respectful behavior toward other guests."
