Very friendly service. The staff was willing to help in any way possible.

I have stayed in many B&Bs in England over the past 40 years, and this has to be one of least attractive. The room included breakfast, but we found the food served the first morning inedible (microwave cooked poached eggs; instant capuchino; cold toast; hard butter; jam that was mostly sugar; I could go on); we ended up having breakfast at various coffee shops around London where we could get good coffee, and fresh croissants every day. The room was not just small, but the bed consisted of a foam mattress, and what appeared to be old sheets. Industrial carpet on the floor did not help, and there was no writing table of any sort, only a very small coffee table that looked as if it had survived a serious beating (lots of chips out of it). For the "in-room coffee" there was an electric kettle, and small tubes of instant coffee (good coffee can be had for very little). The establishment consists of half a dozen Victorian houses, all of which must have been quite attractive at one time, but all we could see was ugliness and lack of imagination where furniture and comfort was concerned. When I complained to the manager upon leaving, his only comfort was that we should have complained, and they would have tried to accommodate us. But the things we would have needed to complain about should have been fundamental to the room.

Service was very good. Staff is friendly. I recommend the place.

Stayed in single room with shared shower/toilet. Overall stay was pleasant. Comfortable bed. Water heater and hair dryer is provided in my room. Plenty of storage space, if you need one. You need to bring your own shower gel and shampoo, its not provided. Breakfast is good, love their english breakfast option, very filling.Location is superb, near to underground, Overground and thameslink. Lots of eateries, within walking distance including tesco and m&s

The guest house is well located to London Transport and Thames Link railway.The room was small with a small uncomfortable double bed,not much space for luggage.The bathroom was nice with a good shower.The staff are very nice anfd friendly.The breakfast is OK.The WiFi was good.
