4/10 Fair

Nice face, gross inside.
Parking is $60 for a night, they do not validate. Staff was rude to customers and did not go out of their way to do anything. Witnessed a non English speaking man get accosted by the staff because he couldn’t find his room. Our room wasn’t ready when we arrived and wasn’t clean after we waited for them to clean it. The elevators are painstakingly slow and small. Hallways are dark, rooms are dark and have no view from a small fenced window. The room was the size of a Chevy suburban with a cheap bed and no box spring. No space to sit or even walk. Smelled terrible and was humid. We got a new hotel as soon as we got into our room.

Best place to stay in Chi-Town
In the heart of the Loop district, wonderfully inexpensive ($100-110/night), cool place with a hip vibe. We were on 9th floor and shower/hot water was quick to arrive. Nice pub(s) on first floor. We walked around town to shop, eat, etc. We wouldn’t even consider staying anywhere else in Chicago. Parking was $49/day across the street.

2/10 Poor

Awful. We are so disappointed. We were excited to stay here. The bar and cafe looked so great. The photos of the room looked great and we were looking forward to a comfortable stay. It ended up being the opposite and detailed the specific trip plans we had in mind. We moved rooms twice because they were 90 degrees. We then find out the AC units in the hotel are off because of the winter but this meant there was no air flow or cool air at all in the rooms. They gave us a fan to use by the window which was extremely dirty and blew dust all of the bed when we turned it on. Many of the outlets in the very very small room did not work and there was no fan or ventilation in the bathroom so the room only got hotter when the shower was used. When we were moved into other rooms they were not the original premium queen that I payed for but the standard room below that. By the end of the night we were so exhausted from shuffling our things that we just gave up to sleep but had we had any indication of what the stay would have been like, I would have done anything to stay somewhere else.
