We had a strange experience where because we had forgotten to say 2 people will be using the room the checkin staff insisted that my husband get an upgrade for $80.00 if he wanted to stay in the same room. We had travelled 2.5 hours in severe rain and flooding, it was 1 a.m. and we were so tired and hungry and we were shocked to hear about the extra payment. Finally we told them we were husband and wife and the guy at the checkin said he would give us a courtesy upgrade and not charge for an extra person in the room. It was a most unpleasant experience.
