Bad Duck!
Room was a broom closet and horribly hot. Had to leave the room to change your mind! Water pressure and shower sucked and the place stank. Will never go there again.

It was a nice old building. Very historical. Rooms are up-to-date. Only thing some people may not find the best is where it is a old building you share. Bathroom with other rooms. But I never had an issue with this. Considering the age of the building i think it's great. Can be a little hard to find if u don't have GPS.

Settled one block from the docks and close to lots of places to eat and chill out. The hotel was a pretty unique experience since one could basically never see an employee of the hotel but still know that their presence is there to make your stay comfortable. From the self check-in/check-out to the non-invasive housekeeping policy. The room is larger than I expected for the price, the bed was comfortable with extra pillows and blankets in the closet, the bathroom was small'ish but had a nice shower and ample room to do the daily duties. I really enjoyed my stay in the St. John's area. Right around the corner is the Duckworth Pub... one of few places I've seen with Murphy's Irish Stout still on tap. Great fish and chips and an Irish stout served at the perfect temperature.

Good for a short stay
It was comfortable and central. Nice renovation. Walls were not sound proof. Ok for rest and location.

Not a real hotel: a restaurant with rooms above.
This is not really a hotel: it is a restaurant (opened on evenings only) with rooms above. No lobby, no reception, it's a "check-in yourself" place. We needed 2 keys so the cleaning lady had trouble cleaning our room since we had the 2 only keys to enter the space. We also freezing at nights and there was nobody on duty to help us with problems. Too bad, it is very well located in a lovely old house.
