Historic Downtown Coronado
Coronado's historic downtown pairs Victorian elegance with beach bliss in a postcard-perfect setting. The iconic red-turreted Hotel del Coronado stands as a grand centrepiece amid Orange Avenue's charming boutiques. Pristine white sand beaches invite lazy afternoons, while the Mediterranean-style Ferry Landing offers spectacular bay views and upscale shopping. Beach-to-table dining dominates the food scene with fresh seafood and craft cocktails worth every penny. Getting around is easy—leave your car behind and explore by foot, bike, or hop on the free Coronado Shuttle. The ferry from downtown San Diego delivers you here in just 15 minutes for a perfect day trip or luxurious extended stay.

Glorietta Bay
Glorietta Bay delivers prime San Diego eye candy with scenic waterfront paths and killer skyline views. Walk along the water's edge, watch luxury yachts glide by, or take a short stroll to the famous Coronado Beach. The bay's calm waters make it perfect for paddleboarding and kayaking, while the nearby Hotel del Coronado adds historic charm to your coastal adventure. Upscale waterfront restaurants serve fresh seafood with bay views worth every penny. Most visitors stay in luxury resorts or boutique hotels that offer full amenities and concierge services. Getting around is easy on foot along manicured paths, though having a car or using ride-sharing services is best for exploring beyond the bay.

Bayside
Coronado's Bayside serves up dreamy waterfront paths with postcard-worthy views of the San Diego skyline. Stroll along the scenic promenade where the bay laps gently against seawalls and boats bob in the harbour. Coronado Ferry Landing offers cute boutiques and perfect photo spots, while nearby Centennial Park delivers prime sunset-watching real estate. Seafood restaurants and upscale cafes dot the waterfront, making mealtime an event with those killer views. Getting around is best done on foot or bicycle along the well-maintained paths. Hotels here lean luxurious, with rates to match the million-dollar scenery.

Silver Strand
Silver Strand delivers the beach vacation dream with pristine shores along both Pacific Ocean and San Diego Bay. The scenic coastal highway invites you to cycle, stroll, or drive past endless ocean views. Water lovers flock to Coronado Beach and Silver Strand State Beach for swimming, paddleboarding, and watching magnificent sunsets over the waves. Beachside cafes and resort restaurants serve fresh seafood with ocean views. Accommodation options range from luxury beachfront resorts to vacation rentals with premium amenities. Getting around is best by car, bike, or walking along the well-maintained coastal paths that connect the major beaches.

Coronado Cays
Coronado Cays offers an exclusive waterfront escape where luxury meets the bay. Private docks line this upscale residential community, perfect for watching sailboats glide across San Diego Bay. The Mediterranean-style homes and condos create a resort atmosphere that feels miles away from tourist crowds. Water enthusiasts can enjoy direct bay access for boating adventures or stroll along uncrowded marina paths. Getting around requires a car, as public transit options are limited within this peaceful enclave. While dining and shopping are minimal in the Cays itself, Coronado Village's restaurants and shops are just a short drive away. Vacation rentals with private pools and bay views make this area ideal for travellers seeking upscale tranquility.

Paradise Point Resort & Spa
"Check in is at 4pm and the only bar on site closes at 5pm. The following day we found out that the Island Store sells alcohol. Food is provided by 2 restaurants near by but we found out that using door dash was better. The restaurant we really wanted to eat at was closed for Labor Day. Staff was accommodating and overall we had a great time."
Hard Rock Hotel San Diego
"We had a king size suite. It was wonderful! Great space, wonderful bed and linens. Hotel was fairly quiet. We enjoyed the pool and pool bar. Lots of fun, although the music is very loud. The restaurant serves a wonderful breakfast and Starbucks is on site as well. Staff was so helpful and accommodating. Perfect location in gas town and near the baseball field and convention center"

"The dresser drawers would not stay closed so they remained open throughout the visit. The bathroom sink drain had to be propped up with a piece of plastic in order for the water to drain. Everything else was fantastic!"

"When booking the bay view room, make sure there is no wedding or event tent blocking the view. We had to request a room change because the view was blocked. Rest, the room and views were great."
