Remove from your listings
Horrible hotel. PLEASE REMOVE FROM YOUR LISTINGS. No front desk( you have to enter the bar beside the front door to get your keys). Lighting in the hotel is all motion sensors. Walking to your room lights up, walking away from the room is complete darkness. Room was gross. Expensive compared to real hotels. This cost more per night than the Hampton Inn we stayed at in London, ON. All the floors were covered in area rugs to hide the original carpet/ hardwood underneath. All the 1950's furniture was covered in bed sheets, reason: we are not sure, too afraid to look under them. The beds were rocks and there covers were salvaged from a thrift store. People make jokes about the water in Walkerton, this place is truly something to be afraid of! I could go on, but I will run out of characters.

RUN, RUN RUN!!!! WORSE THAN HORRIBLE!
I booked this place at the last minute as my original camping plans fell through. Upon arriving, the building looked run down and abandoned and there was no clear entrance. I went next door to the bar-which was dank, musty, and smoky- to see if they knew anything and it turns out it's where you check in. Upon entering, the place smelled damp, and all the lights were run on motion sensors. The bathroom was a hole in the closet and the cramped shower looked like it hadn't been cleaned in ages. The bedding looked like it hadn't been changed and needless to say I slept in my sleeping bag on top of the bedding and didn't sleep well which affected my entire trip. It's said that you get what you pay for but this place certainly wasn't worth the money I paid! I know now to have a firm back up plan in place for this trip next year!
