They are doing remodeling now and we stayed in a new room. Quite nice.

Barely adequate
Not fancy or polished, nearly adequate. Two blocks from Mayo Clinic is the saving grace for this place. The light switch was just plain gross, I used my elbow to turn the switch off/on.

Conveniently located but needs updating
I stayed 5 nights in order to have appointments at the Mayo Clinic. This hotel is only 2 blocks from the buildings in which I had appointments, so it was very conveniently located for me. The building could use some updating! Pillows were hard and lopsided. Bathroom walls and floor could use a good cleaning. The light bulb burned out on my bedside lamp and the desk person handed me a new bulb instead of offering to replace it. The soap bars were replace daily even though I had used them only once or twice. . . Go figure!

Very worn down hotel. Room smells like they are covering up,an odor. Would never stay there again.

The bathroom was an adventure. Cold and hot water taps were mixed up. Access to toilet paper was a stretch for senior citizens. Short on bath towels, although the man on the floor came through when we asked for more. Good location and breakfast was as good as other motels in the area. Finally, ac/heater was noisy and had to turn it off at night and room door did not fit very well.
