Fantastic place to stay near Wrigley Field!
I normally stay in hotels, but for this trip I couldn't find one that worked well in this neighborhood, so I "took a chance" on Chicago Guest House. Winner! This place is on a wonderful residential block in the Wrigley Field area. The unit itself (3rd floor) is a beautifully maintained, charming, three bedroom apartment. The rooms are separated by a good distance, so everyone has some privacy. The living room is bright and features a large TV (for that inevitable down time). The kitchen has been remodeled, is fully functional and well equipped. The focal point of the unit is a beautiful dining room that would be a fantastic for a celebratory family or friends dinner. I had one small issue while I was there - I couldn't find a local TV station (Roku). I called the owner, Teri, and she came over in short order and helped me fix it. We had a lovely conversation about the house and the neighborhood. Wonderful aspects of the neighborhood include Guthrie's Tavern, a real neighborhood pub, and Bodega Sur, a wine bar, and the related Tango Sur, a cozy Argentinian restaurant with an excellent menu. (Advisement: Tango doesn't sell alcohol, so buy a discounted bottle of wine at Bodega before you go.)

Perfect place in Lakeview-close to Wrigley
Stayed here with family while visiting daughter who lives nearby. Perfect location. 1 block to the train that takes you to Loop or switch to go out to OHare airport. Can walk to Wrigley Field and dozens of restaurants, bars and shops. Parking included. Apt had so many little extras-qtips and cotton balls in bathroom, filled Brita water dispenser in fridge and everything to make coffee! We will DEFINITELY stay here again !!!

perfect place for a few days or week
Went to visit my son at DePaul during a long weekend and had a blast visiting the area. The house itself was big enough for four of us-- myself, my 23 year old daughter, my 17 year old daughter and her best friend. It was great to be able to spread out and have room to move around, not be afraid to be out in the neighborhood at night, and just hang out. we were a couple short blocks from the Brown line, which either got us everywhere (with a little extra walking) or was one stop from the main Red line. Perfect place! I'd stay there again in a heartbeat
