Overrated
We were told at check-in that we'd get a 15% discount for our room if we printed our ski tickets. With much hassle in their "business center" that doesn't have a wifi printer I was able to print my tickets. The desk clerk was not sure how to enter my credit so with the help of the manager we were told of our discount (which was significant for 2 rooms). I didn't see that reflected in my bill so I called the hotel. I was told that the ski room discounts was not applicable on weekends or when I booked through a third party. I'm very frustrated. I was going to let the poor quality of the room slide because I was happy with the discount. The updates to the room were terrible. Carpet and vinyl tiles popping up, trim unpainted. There was a large gaps in the unsealed door so you can hear every conversation and noise in the hallway. I slept terrrible. The patio door was very drafty. The pools were nice and the restaurant expensive but good service. Also terrible coffee. Closest coffee shop is 8 miles away. For as expensive as the stay was I don't think the value is there.

Fairmont Rennovated
I’ve been visiting Fairmont Hot Springs with friends and family for over 35 years. Always a relaxing experience. Love the Christmas decorations in the lobby each by year. The renovations are looking promising. So glad the property is more private as well.
