This was our third trip to SXM and The Colombus Residence was the best hotel we’ve stayed at so far. The place is very well maintained and clean. We had the smallest unit by the pool but it was so spacious and bright. The kitchen had a functional stove, a microwave, a fridge, cookware etc. bathroom was brightly lit and kept very modern and clean. We loved having a breakfast in our patio and jumping into the pool when we decided to stay in and relax. Delphine the owner was so friendly and very knowledgeable about the island. Cecilia who works there as a staff was so kind, attentive, and fun to talk to. They both got in touch with us before, during, and after our visit to make sure we were enjoying our stay which was very sweet and made us feel like a family. I will definitely book this place next time we are going to SXM. What a great place to stay if you have the French-style, laid back vacation. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

The property is well maintained. Delphine is a phenomenal host , charismatic, and excited to show you around . Quick response when you have a question to anything . We had an issue with our place it was rainning hard that day , the place was flooded she upgraded us to a suite ,call plumbers quick , fix the issue and the bext day our room was ready . Great place in st Martin (french side) quite neighborhood. I will certainly go back

STAY HERE - This place is great.
This is a great place to stay. I wish I could give more stars. The room was clean and large. The pool is beautiful. It’s a quiet hotel. There are a handful of really great restaurants nearby for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Parking is easy. And the owner is incredible - upbeat, gracious, kind, helpful.... We had to postpone our trip 2 days (due to flight problems) and she honored our reservation and didn’t charge us even though we had non-refundable rooms. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND staying here. It was a wonderful hotel and a beautiful island.

Loved the patio shaded by greenery that allowed us to sit in the heat without getting sunburned; and pool was right next to our room - so handy. Room is large and very comfortable. Delphine and Cecilia are very personable and always willing to serve. Cecilia picked us up at the airport, make a reservation at the restaurant for us and the next day drove us to the car rental agency.

The Columbus Hotel is well maintained and Delphine is so gracious! The marina and surrounding properties are still recovering from hurricane Irma. If you like quiet and time alone is a tranquil setting, this will be right for you. It is on the French side, so you need adapters for electrical appliances and sometimes the water in shower/sink (not toilet) is interrupted. I don't know how often that happens.
