During our check-in we learned that the restaurant was shut down that evening because the chef had resigned without advance notice. Disappointing.
A cold breakfast buffet was available the next two mornings, but the choices (especially gluten free) were limited.
That said, the waitress tried her best.
Our room (the loft) was an odd design, with some features missing, e.g. nowhere to hang clothes in the bathroom. The furniture and bed/bedding was tired, but the bed was comfortable.
My largest concern would be the loft safety. I don't pretend to know Quebec fire safety regulations, but it's a wood frame building, steep and unusually high wood stairs up to the loft, no alternative fire escape, no emergency lighting, no fire exit plan, etc. Didn't fill me with confidence.
