Great ocean stay on a buget!
Loved the view and the location! Staff was friendly and very helpful. Furnishings could use some updating, but everything worked This was a family trip and we were very happy that we could bring our pet with us.

Good until the end
You can tell the place was older and not updated but for the price, I thought it worked out fine. The view was amazing. The little kitchenette was cute. Parking was kinda painful. The door slams into the wall which made a hole but it had been patched before because it was a thin sheet of material and of course the door knob also broke that patch. The only thing that made my stay frustrating was when we were checking out. As my husband and I were packing up our car, I saw a small amount of water inside my trunk and went inside to grab a small face towel to wipe it off. One of the workers gave me a lecture on how the towel was now black and that they would have to throw it away even though it's a cheap towel, it was wasteful. It was an honest mistake that I made. I didn't think it would make the towel black and I didn't even know it was black until he pointed it out because it was just ocean water from the kids' sand castle stuff. I don't know if he was having a bad day or why he targeted me and gave me a lecture. Does he do that to all guests? What do they do with the face towels that other guests use to wipe off their makeup/eyeliner and turns the white towels a different color? Do they also lecture them about how wasteful it is? What about a towel that someone drops on the ground and accidentally steps on it and it turns black? I would have given this place a better review but with the encounter that I had right before I left, I am hesitant to return to this place.

Outdated with a great view.
The view was absolutely priceless and worth it, however the room is super outdated, especially the bathroom, and the tub has a lot of mold/mold stains.

We were dissatisfied with some things.
We had to kill lots of bull flys. It was really tough getting the keys to work in the door. Needs updating. Loved the pool! Hot tub could have been cleaner.

Dorty
Definitely dated, but being reminded with a new owner. Hotel room was dirty and there were bugs. The fridge in the room made a horrible noise making it hard to sleep. No beach access unless you’re willing to walk up and down 131 stairs each way.
