Charming House in a great location
The Hochelaga Inn was an absolute find! The location is great, a quick walk to many restaurants and coffee shops. The house itself is a bit rustic, but very charming. The bed was comfortable, the service was friendly and the breakfast was excellent. Would definitely stay again.

Awful. Dirty. Extremely Noisy. Expensive. All the “amazing” reviews don’t match our experience at all…We then checked the negative ones (that we did not see before, hidden down low) since the property was so bad and you should read them…all true. Oh And they incessantly text and email you- 10 times for a 1 night stay…even asking for extra money for the cleaner! That’s why I gave a “good” review so you can get the sense that the “bad” reviews reveal, but are clearly “hidden”.

19th century charm with 21st century amenities
The Hochelaga Inn offered a beautiful and immaculate room with modern amenities in a 19th century house. The service could not have been better: polite, kind, efficient. The breakfast included in the stay offered two different delicious entrees and a bottomless cup of coffee or a selection of juices. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone contemplating a stay in Kingston. The superb staff really made a huge contribution to the excellence of my stay.
