BUYER BEWARE !!!
The Hotel appeared well kept and maintained upon approach. The desk clerk was pleasant and offered information requested. The first room I was offered was well appointed with a sitting area as well as normal furnishings for a motel room; however it was obvious that the door had been kicked in. The inside safety latch was missing completely and the brass striker plate in the door jam was missing completely. When I brought the issues to the desk clerk she immediately gave me a different room. The new room, although clean was not nearly as nicely appointed as the previous room. The biggest problem was the heater. It was a cold night and I set it at 69 degrees. It would turn on every 6-7 minutes with a loud vibration. I was miserable the entire night. After paying more than $100.00 for a room I have come to appreciate much better accommodations. I will only be staying at hotels chains that are known to provide those better accommodations.

They have hidden taxes
Firs, they charged extra fee for energy tax $4 and tourist tax $1 each. I called Hotels.com but they didn’t know about those taxes. Also I googled it but I can’t find it. I stayed here because it was close to Pinnacles National Park west entrance. Second night, I stayed in Kings City. It is just 20 min away from west entrance and 50 minutes from east entrance. It has no extra taxes. And also, there are nice bar and restaurants in downtown Kings City .I should’ve stayed in Kings City for 2 nights. Second, the room smells bad and the shower was very weak.

Great hotel as a base for the Pinnacles
I love the Valley Harvest Inn. The staff is really nice, and they have a nice on-site restaurant, as well as a nice pool and hot tub. They are also a really nice place to stay when I visit the Pinnacles. My only issue with the hotel is that it is old and there are some rooms that noticeably need improvements, especially to the bathrooms. The bathtubs in several of the rooms I've stayed in have broken drains and won't hold water, and the sink in this room made a really terrible noise the whole time it was on. Other than that, the rooms are nice, and I really like staying here.

The only issue was the original room i checked into was not cleaned when i opened the door. Im sure just mistake by maid service but the desk quickly gave me another room. No issue.

Valley Harvest is decent.
This motel is ok for a decent place to stay. Nothing is outstanding nor was it terrible. Room was clean, bed was ok, was not noisy. Restaurant next to the motel had good food and service. We would stay there again if in the area.
