Dangerous rooms.
The hotel is shabby on the outside. Peeling paint etc. the lobby is pleasant with comfortable seating while you wait for your room. However, the inside of my room was straight up dangerous. I’m an electrician and was subsequently shocked to see sockets on both sides of the beds essentially hanging out. The entire lighting control modules were dangerously loose and there is a scarily high chance of getting a 230v electric shock in this premises. Not what you’d expect having paid 135 pounds for a room. This was highly disappointing. Additionally my bathroom door lock was Broken, and the bath didn’t have a plug. However these are minor issues one would usually overlook. The breakfast was very good.
Both sides of the bed had broken control panels. Not for for use and really takes away from the atmosphere of the room. Not fit for purpose, and certainly not fit for £135 a night.
